I’m a proud native of Assam, a picturesque state in northeastern India known for its lush landscapes, Assam tea, and exquisite silk. My journey has taken me from the serene hills of Assam to the bustling streets of Mumbai, where I now reside with my wonderful wife and our lovely kids.

Professionally, I thrive as a Research Scientist and Packaging Specialist at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. I’m passionate about creating innovative packaging solutions that not only protect products but also contribute to a sustainable future. My work allows me to blend my scientific curiosity with a commitment to environmental responsibility.

But my interests don’t stop at the lab. I’m an avid photographer, capturing moments of beauty and wherever I go. Photography is my way of freezing time, preserving memories, and sharing the world’s wonders through my lens.

Packaging Specialist - Rigids

At GCPL, I work as a Research Scientist (Manager) in Packaging Design & Development (PDD) team. PDD, here, is a part of Research & Development – hence the fancy designation😊. But I do get the opportunity work in an office where real innovation takes place, and to share my contribution in some of them.

2009 - 2017

Injection Mold Design Engineer

Vasantha Tool Crafts can be called the biggest mold maker in India in caps and closures. I was very fortunate to have been a part of the company during a phase when it was growing rapidly, expanding with new infrastructure and exploring latest technologies in mold design.

The 8 years at Vasantha as an Injection Mold Designer was a huge learning experience. I was part of some of the key molds for the company during that period.

2007 - 2009

PG Diploma in Tool Design & CAD CAM

18 month diploma course on tool design and CAD CAM

2001 - 2005

BE in Mechanical Engineering

The four years in AEC campus in Hostel 1 were probably the best formative days of my life. Besides Mechanical Engineering, I learnt a lot of life skills, made friends for lifetime and had a ton of fun.
